Skoda Australia says the tech-enhanced models will arrive from the fourth quarter of 2023
If you’re after more standard tech in your Skoda, there are more heavily equipped Skodas soon to be on the way to Australian showrooms.
Skoda Australia has announced it will update the technology for most models in its lineup – except the Fabia hatchback and Superb sedan – with first deliveries of the updated range to begin in Q4 2023.
The Czech automaker says that every Skoda model on sale in Australia will now be fitted with side assist with rear cross traffic alert as standard.
Pricing for the range will be announced closer to the arrival of the updated cars.
Let’s take a look at each of the new changes to the Skoda model range going forward.
What’s been added to each of the following models?
Lane assist now standard across the Style and Sportline variants
Karoq Style now offered with a Leather Seats pack that includes either black or ivory comfort leather seats with power and memory functions, ambient lighting, front and rear LED reading lights and footwell lighting
Park assist, power child locks, auto dimming interior mirror and dimming driver’s exterior mirror now standard on Style and RS variants
Canton sound system returns to the RS as part of the Premium pack
Octavia Style will merge option packs into one Tech & Luxury pack, which combines both Tech and Luxury packs together – minus head-up display and dynamic chassis control
