2019 MINI Kensington Edition on sale in Australia

The 2019 MINI Kensington Edition is now on sale in Australia featuring drive away pricing, extra standard equipment and a unique colour choice and is available in both Cooper and Cooper S models. Painted in a striking burgundy hue, which is available in the MINI hatchback for the first time, the Kensington Edition is about adding a bespoke touch to the MINI hatchback range – it was previously only available on the Clubman.

Unlike other MINI products locally, the Kensington Edition is only available online, with buyers choosing an ideal specification, paying a deposit and then being referred to their preferred MINI dealership. Just 60 units of the MINI Kensington will be available in Australia.

“MINI has a history of providing bespoke special-edition vehicles,” said MINI Australia General Manager, Brett Waudby.

“We like to showcase what’s unique about the brand, and continue telling the story of exclusivity and personalisation while retaining that MINI sense of fun.

“With Kensington we have taken this a step further by offering customers the ability to secure their allocation online. With only 60 units coming, the race is on,” he said.
