A lack of infrastructure means Toyota cannot confidently sell hydrogen-powered vehicles to the public in Australia.

Toyota has broken the long distance hydrogen record with its new Mirai sedan which travelled 1360km without a refuel.

Besting the existing record by over 100km, the Toyota Mirai also obliterated its current WLTP range claim of 650km.
