BMW X3 2023: xDrive30i joins Sport Collection and launches in Australia priced from $109,900 driveaway

BMW has launched its next Sport Collection variant, this time for the X3 xDrive30i variant. 

The news comes after BMW Australia last year added Sport Collection variants for the 1, 2 and 3 Series, and then the X1 and X2 locally. 

Pricing will start at $109,900 driveway for the X3 xDrive30i Sport Collection grade, which sits roughly $3535 more than a regular xDrive30i M Sport currently priced at $106,365 driveaway. 

Only 350 examples will be available for Australian buyers and all will be powered by the existing 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 185kW/350Nm. 

The new X3 xDrive30i Sport Collection will go on sale to Australian customers this month. 

What is added to the Sport Collection variant?

BMW states that the xDrive30i has several additional features over the standard car, including:

• Metallic paint – choices of M Carbon Black, Mineral White or M Brooklyn Grey
• Exclusive styled 20-inch light alloy wheels with double-spoke design in Orbit Grey 
• Panoramic glass sunroof 
• 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system
• Lumbar support for driver and front passenger 
• Seat heating for driver and front passenger 

Standard features on the Sport Collection also includes:

• M Sport package 
• Adaptive suspension 
• Leather Vernasca upholstery 
• Head-up display 
• Dual 12.3-inch displays for touchscreen and driver cluster
• Automatic tailgate 
• Comfort access system
• Interior trim finished in M aluminium Rhombicle Dark Black Gloss with Pearl Chrome finishes 
• Electric seat adjustment for driver and front passenger
