KGM brushes up on grades and equipment list for 2026 Musso ute
KG Mobility, formerly Ssanyong, has announced a string of standard equipment updates coming to ELX, Ultimate, and Advance (formerly Adventure) grades of its Musso and Musso XLV dual-cab utes.
The Musso/XLV grade line-up has been revised, now spanning ELX, Advance, and Ultimate. All variants now come standard with roof rails.
Apart from roof rails, the base model Musso ELX additionally gains electric power steering, lane keeping assist, and HID headlights. Note that in XLV form, these changes will not apply. The Musso ELX starts at $42,500 driveaway.
KGM’s middle grade Adventure has been re-named to Advance. Standard equipment has been improved to include a new black front grille, black roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, HID headlights, dual-zone climate control, rear privacy glass and a heated steering wheel.
It also receives a string of additional driver safety aids, including blind spot warning, rear cross traffic warning, lane change collision warning and safety exit warning. The Musso Advance has a driveaway price of $46,500.
Topping the 2026 Musso model range is the Ultimate. It gains unique front and rear bumpers, 360-degree camera, powered sunroof, LED headlights, eight-way powered front seats, and rear seat heating. The Ultimate has a drive-away price of $51,500.
All grades of Musso incur an additional $1500 drive-away charge if stepped up to an extended wheelbase, long tray Musso XLV.
KGM’s Musso has been on sale in Australia since 1993. Originally introduced as a large SUV, the Musso is now exclusively sold as a dual-cab ute. All Musso variants are powered by a 133kW/420Nm 2.2L turbo-diesel four cylinder, mated to a six-speed automatic.
The Musso predominantly contends with other aggressively priced dual cabs, including the GWM Cannon, JAC T9, and LDV T60. Popular premium dual cab rivals to the Musso include the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max and new Kia Tasman.
