A suite of updates for Zeekr X electric small SUV have been confirmed for 2026 to better the model against a growing list of rivals
The Zeekr X will be faster, cheaper, and better equipped for MY26.
Now priced under $50,000 driveaway for rear-wheel drive and under $60,000 for all-wheel drive, says Zeekr, this will represent a range-wide price reduction of around $5000-10,000 for the upgraded X.
Exact prices for the model will be confirmed on Friday, 10 April at the Melbourne Motor Show.
In any case, reduced X prices will draw the model closer to value-focused rivals such as the $47,600 before on-road costs Kia EV3 and $39,990 BYD Atto 3, while widening the jump to premium alternatives like the $84,900 Audi Q4 e-Tron and $77,900 BMW iX1.
The updated Zeekr X also gains a range-wide 50kW bump in power, now outputting 250kW in base, rear-drive configuration and 365kW in range-topping all wheel drive guise. Sprinting from 0-100km/h now takes 5.6 and 3.7 seconds respectively.
Technology in the X RWD is furthered by the introduction of Zeekr’s ‘Golden Battery’, seen in the recently introduced 7X medium electric SUV.
The updated LFP unit promises 405km of driving range (WLTP), rapid 10–80 percent DC charging in 18 minutes with a 230kW peak, and an AC charging peak of 11kW.
The X AWD will retain its larger NCM battery, which promises 415km of driving range (WLTP), a rapid DC charge from 10-80 percent in 30 minutes, peaking at 150kW, and an AC charge peak of 22kW.
For both models, vehicle sizing remains unchanged, at 4432mm long, 1836mm wide, 1566mm tall, and driving on a 2750mm wheelbase — about the same size as a Toyota Corolla Cross.
Other model year changes include new exterior options for the Zeekr X AWD like matte Khaki Green and Onyx Black exterior colours, new-look 20-inch wheels, and optional automatic doors.
Range-wide interior changes have also been confirmed. MY26 debuts a new design featuring new materials, textures, and colours. Heated seats for both the front and rear seats are now standard, as is a 13-speaker Yamaha stereo.
All-wheel drive models benefit from standard-equipped front massaging seats and a fridge within the centre console.
