2018 Mitsubishi Triton Blackline on sale in Australia

Mitsubishi Motors Australia has launched a new special edition of its Triton ute, with the 2018 Mitsubishi Triton Blackline now on sale. Based on the popular Triton GLS dual cab spec, the Blackline adds a number of sportier-looking trim pieces and extra equipment from the Triton Exceed, such as a rear differential lock.

Priced from $43,490 plus on-road costs – or $1,990 more than the Triton GLS on which it’s based – the Triton Blackline is being offered at just $41,990 drive away for the six-speed manual or $43,990 drive away for the five-speed automatic, representing a circa-$5,000 saving for buyers. The Triton Blackline is in Mitsubishi dealers now.

The Triton Blackline includes new standard equipment for the Triton range, including black painted fender flares, rear and side steps, 17-inch alloy wheels, mirror caps, floormats, a tub liner, the front grille, door handles and even a Triton Blackline decal. The Blackline also includes equipment from the Triton Exceed including smart keyless entry and start, as well as a rear differential lock.

Equipped with the same 133kW/430Nm 2.4-litre turbo diesel as the regular Triton range, the Triton Blackline also features the Triton GLS’ regular standard equipment list, including HID headlights with LED daytime running lights, front foglamps, dual-zone climate control air-conditioning, automatic-folding mirrors, cloth seat trim and an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a reversing camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
